MISTY MILLER
born and raised in New Orleans, LA, began her professional career at the tender age of 10 when she went on tour dancing for the NFL. She moved to L.A. after receiving her Bachelors Degree from the University of Nebraska, where she studied Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations. For the past 14 years she has maintained a tedious schedule keeping herself busy as a dancer, model, actress, choreographer, teacher, and voice over artist. And her business and new passion, which she began with her husband Clinton, The Movement Dance Competition and Convention, is now in it’s 4th successful season.
Misty has performed in front of stadium crowds up to 110,000 in both the US and in Europe. She has performed live with Beyonce and Kanye West. You would have also seen her in Kristin Chenoweth's music video "I Want Somebody." Misty assisted the world renowned magician, Ed Alonzo, on the Britney Spears' Circus tour, which she was an Associate Choreographer. And she has jumped in once again to help Mr. Alonzo with Britney Spears’ show in Las Vegas. She worked one-on-one with Britney for the second time, teaching her choreography and coaching her on how to do the magic tricks with Mr. Alonzo. And recently, you would have seen her add campaigns for Facebook, Intel and Viasat.
Misty's film credits include Netflix Original Sandy Wexler featuring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Hudson, The Comebacks with comedian David Kechner and the children's musical The Oogieloves In The Big Ballon Adventure with an all-star cast. In addition to her national commercial for Nair, you have seen her on select TV appearances including Two and a Half Men,The Game, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, the Pro Bowl with the band Life House, The Master's of Illusion with Ed Alonzo, Grease: You're The One That I Want promo campaign, Real Life the Musical, and Passions soap opera. She has also worked behind the scenes as a choreographer on a Bratz commercial and the Singing Bee. She has toured with the National Football League, performed at the Bellagio, Mandalay Bay and Aria in Las Vegas, as well as with Fiat, Paul Mitchel, Wella and Sexy Hair. Misty toured Europe with Dj BoBo, the Swiss artist responsible for the number 1 hit theme song Chihuahua that helped make Disney's film spectacular Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
Misty has worked with such notable choreographers as Fatima Robinson, Mandy Moore, Laurie Ann Gibson, Frank Gatson, Nick Florez & RJ Durell, Rosero McCoy, Michael Swchandt, Barry Young Blood, Yemi and Michael Chambers. She has worked with Emmy Award winning Directors such as David LaChapelle and Matthew Diamond from Camp Rock. She has also worked with A-List artists such as Jamie Pressley, Tony Braxton, Christopher Loyd, Chaz Polmetari, Cary Elwis, Clorris Leachman, Rick Fox, fitness guru Jillian Michaels from The Biggest Loser to name a few. She has performed for Marc Anthony, Gene Simmons, Rapheal Saddique, Panic! at the Disco, Blink 182, Nike, Panasonic, MGM, Toyota and Manheim Steamroller. She was also personally flown to NYC to be interviewed by Maxim, BET, and Cosmopolitan.
Misty has loved to entertain since childhood. She doesn't only love to perform, she also genuinely loves sharing her knowledge of technique, style, secrets of the industry and most importantly her passion for dance to the next generation of entertainers.
